Voxbook
Help with reading, narration, and voice cloning
Voxbook turns your books into audio with lifelike, on-device voices — including a narrator cloned from your own voice — and works fully offline. If something isn't working or you have a question, we're happy to help.
Voxbook downloads a one-time voice model (about 300 MB) so it can narrate and clone voices entirely on your device. We recommend downloading over Wi-Fi. After that, narration works offline — nothing you read or listen to is ever uploaded.
During onboarding (or later from the Voices screen) you can record a short sample. Voxbook builds a voice profile from it on your device. Your recording never leaves your iPhone.
Yes. Voxbook includes several built-in narrators with a range of accents. Open the Voices tab, tap a narrator to preview it, and select it as your reader.
You can import EPUB and other supported document formats and read them offline. Use the import option in your library to add a book from Files or another app.
The free plan includes one cloned voice and a daily listening limit. Voxbook Pro removes the daily limit and unlocks unlimited cloned voices and advanced playback controls. Subscriptions are available weekly or annually, with a free trial on the annual plan.
To restore Pro on a new device, open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. To change or cancel a subscription, go to Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Yes. Your books, recordings, and cloned voices stay on your device. Voxbook has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Try pausing and resuming, or restarting the app. If a voice won't load, make sure the one-time model download finished (you'll see it complete during setup). If problems persist, email us at support@thexsol.xyz and tell us your device model and iOS version.
