Voxbook

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Voxbook is a private, offline book reader with on-device voice narration and voice cloning. We built it to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what that means for your data — in short, we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.

The short version: Your books, your recordings, and the voices you create never leave your iPhone. Voxbook has no account system, no user tracking, and no analytics.

Information We Do Not Collect

Voxbook does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier. We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, or usage tracking of any kind.

Your Content Stays On Your Device

On-Device Speech & Voice Cloning

All text-to-speech narration and voice cloning run on-device using a neural model that is downloaded to your iPhone. Once the model is downloaded, narration and cloning work fully offline. No text you read and no audio you generate is ever sent to a server.

Model Downloads

On first launch, Voxbook downloads a one-time voice model package from our hosting server so it can narrate offline afterwards. Like any standard web request, our server may automatically record ordinary technical log data (such as your IP address and the time of the request) for the sole purpose of delivering the file and protecting the service. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to profile or track you.

Subscriptions & Payments

Voxbook Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Purchase status is verified on your device to unlock Pro features.

Third-Party Services

Voxbook does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The only external services involved are Apple (for subscriptions and app delivery) and our own model-hosting server described above.

Children's Privacy

Voxbook does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no personal data, no such information is gathered.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting the app removes all of its local data — your imported books, recordings, cloned voices, and settings — from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL.
